DescriptionSanitation workers are to clean and sanitize production areas and machines to prepare for the facility for operation of food products.Pay: $20.25 per hour (includes incentive) plus $2.00 for the night shift differential.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:Sanitation workers are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling production machines, as well as cleaning and sanitizing production areas. It is mandatory to complete Safety Training, including but not limited to LOTO, Food Safety/GMP training, Chemical training, and any other training deemed necessary to become qualified to complete required job duties. Can be assigned other duties as needed.QUALIFICATIONS: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similaritiesand differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speaksimple sentences.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement,volume, and distance.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
