We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual for a temporary Office Coordinator to cover for a maternity leave. You will oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. The Office Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting our team and enhancing productivity.

Duties

• Provide front desk support including greeting customers and answering multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy.
• Coordinate the calendar and set appointments.
• Communicate with vendors, including procurement of supplies and services.
• Organize filing systems for easy access to documents and information.
• Coordinate all phases of projects from quoting to creating work orders and invoices.
• Assist in shop duties such as laminating, trimming, wedding and masking.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiar with Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Gmail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual responsibilities.

The position is initially part time for about 4 weeks for training. Then full time for 3 to 6 months as needed. Further employment to be determined.
